Who we are

Foundation Cycling is dedicated to empowering talented, young cyclists and helping them to achieve their highest potential in the sport of bicycle racing. For over two decades, we have been selecting riders from across the U.S., the East Coast, and the Caribbean, providing economically challenged athletes with premium bicycles, gear, equipment, travel, and accommodations for national caliber races. Beyond material support, we offer invaluable mentorship from ex-professionals, Olympians, and world champions.

Our efforts have successfully elevated amateurs, some with minimal experience, to international racing levels where they secure professional contracts. Foundation riders, known for their goodwill and kindness, are celebrated across numerous communities for embodying the spirit of competitive yet compassionate sportsmanship.

As the longest-running charitable cycling team, we remain committed to expanding our support to include youth cycling health and educational programs. With several national champions and participants in the prestigious Tour de France, our ultimate goal is to continue our mission to 'pay it forward,' fostering a legacy of excellence and generosity in the cycling community.

Foundation Cycling was established in 2000 in New York City and is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
